School Librarian as Instructional Partner
Education is often about buzz words. If you've been in the business long enough, you have heard hundreds. Some stick around, many drift away. One buzz word that has and will always have tremendous impact on children and learning is collaboration.
In the role of Instructional Partner, collaboration is the focus. In this role, we school librarians collaborate with our community, administration, and classroom teachers to create independent learners, to support the needs of our diverse learners, and to foster their critical thinking and information literacy skills.
The artifacts on this page will highlight collaborative efforts on various projects.
