Welcome to my Academic Portfolio.
My name is Stacie Johnson, school librarian at Homer Community School in Homer, Nebraska. This portfolio - the culminating project for my graduate work toward a Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology, School Library Concentration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney - showcases my development, academic achievement and experiences within the program.
On this site, you will find primarily artifacts which represent that development, achievement, and experience. The artifacts, which are accompanied by reflective statements describing the content, process and self-assessment of each, can be accessed in two ways, either through the Roles of the School Librarian page or the ALA/AASL Standards 2010 page Also found on the site are links to my professional background and to web sites and photos created for coursework and advocacy of the Homer Community School Library.
This project is a four-year labor of love, a continuous quest for life-long learning and for a career as a school librarian. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
